Creating Pieces of Art for Your Home.

Everyone has a story to be told.  My goal is to convey who a child, adult, family or pet is through the art of portraiture.  These stories represent not only moments in time, but cherished memories that melt into a lifetime.

I create scenes through backgrounds, special clothing, and interesting props.  These are the "Storybook Portraits".  These images will often incorporate special trinkets that have been passed down from generation to generation.  For example, a crib, or blanket, or outfit that generations before wore.

The "Cameo Series" is the opposite end of the spectrum yet just as beautiful.  Simple, classic, timeless.  Often these will mark a milestone birthday and be a painted portrait of mainly the face of the child with no props or set-up.

When a finished portrait hangs in the home, it becomes a treasured heirloom.
